Nice food and reasonably priced. Fantastic to see a great range of loose leaf teas on offer for those who are not so into coffee.
Would not come back...Dirty cutlery left for use on tables. Very expensive. Nothing we wanted was available, even items advertised on the board out the front. Extremely expensive for breakfast. Unwilling to substitute fried eggs for scrambled eggs. Unable to cook an omlette on a weekday. Milkshakes did not have anywhere near enough flavouring. Staff looked bored and uninterested.Food was ok, but too expensive.
Toasted Veg focaccia came with 2 half cooked slices of cold pumpkin spinach & pesto. Overpriced.Very ordinary. They cant cope with busy. Young staff looked exhausted. Surcharge of 50cents for orders under $10 on card is illegal & immoral. Greedy for cash. Paul the Pieman Bakery is better quality & service.
Definitely not a place I would comeback. Got there at about 11:20. Couldn't order lunch because lunch is from 12. Fair enough. We ordered some snacks and drinks. At 11:56 went to place a lunch order for 5 people. Sorry, can't do. Lunch is from 12. That's ok just take the order it will be 12 by the time we are done. Nope, we will let you know when you can order. Seriously?. Finely we ordered about 2 minutes later .. go figure... order came and mine had stuff not mentioned in the menu. Highly dangerous thing to do. What if I am allergic to it ?. As I said not a place I would come back.
Loved it, maybe just in a holiday mood. The feeling was beachy, with a good, not great menu.We came at their busy time for breakfast, they then organised a table for us which was nice.I had a BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomatoes) in a beautiful roll, yummy and a juice with ginger... Perfect.The only negative maybe the young staff where a bit inexperienced and focused on doing the job, rather than the whole experience.
